Security Industry

We are a specialist service provider to the Security Industry. We provide security service providers with a wide variety of services, which include:
i. Applications for the registration with the Private Security Industry Related Authority (PSIRA).
ii. Assistance with any PSIRA related matters, including disciplinary enquiries and appeals.
iii. Applications for accreditation with the South African Police Services as security providers.

iv. Firearm licence applications for the rendering of security services.
v. Applications for temporary authorizations for firearms for the rendering of security services.
vi. Due diligence enquiries to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Firearms Control Act.
vii. Application for Firearms Transporters Permits, and Firearm Import and Export Permits.
viii. Assistance in obtaining firearm licences for the provision of maritime security services.

ix. Assistance with applications for registration and permits to the Directorate of the Conventional Arms Control (DCAC).
x. We assist the security service providers by bringing High Court Applications for long outstanding licence applications for business purposes.
xi. We assist security service providers in liaising with the South African Police Services, from station to Central Firearms Registry level, regarding their applications, which includes application follow-ups and re-submission of applications or documents.

Firearm Appeals

Individuals and entities assisted with Firearm appeals which include the following:

i. Appeals against the refusal of competency certificates and the upliftment of declarations of unfitness.

ii. Appeals against the refusal of firearm licences and Section 21 Temporary Authorisations for Self Defence, Hunting, Sport Shooting and Collecting.
iii. Appeals against the refusal of firearm licence for Business Purposes.

We provide a personalized service and appeals are delivered to the Firearms Appeal Board in Pretoria by hand, and the progress of appeals are monitored on a constant basis.

Firearm Related Criminal Matters

We assist our clients with all the firearm related criminal matters, from the initial bail hearing to the conclusion of the trial, if applicable.

Criminal matters we assist with in this regard include:

i. Negligent loss of a firearm.
ii. Pointing of a firearm

iii. Illegal possession of firearms and/or ammunition.
iv. Culpable Homicide.
v. Murder.
vi. Assault and Assault with the Intent to Cause Grievous Bodily Harm.

Criminal Law involves the rules that define proper conduct within a society and regulates the safety and welfare of the people within it.

Group class action review application

A group application is designed to minimise the costs of obtaining a court order to a nominal amount to make the obtaining of a court order for the Central Firearms Registry or the Appeal Board to do their job accessible to the average person.
